THE FRAUD OF MANAGED CARE The
Union of American Physicians and Dentists (UAPD) congratulates Rescue
Health Care Day participants for their courageous and informative action
to expose the fraud of managed care. Managed
Money schemes have been sequestered into so-called managed care plans
where profit management has replaced care.
Patients who have joined these plans and their compliant HMOs
often end up deceived, disappointed, and even injured. The
Union of American Physicians and Dentists is sponsoring legislation to
correct HMO abuses and congratulates Rescue Health Care Day for its
public disclosure of the hypocrisy of the for-profit managed care
industry. The
UAPD wishes RHCD grand success in its April 1st demonstrations
throughout the United States. |
